Jamie graduated cum laude from Colgate University with a dual degree in music and film & media studies. In addition to being an award-winning film composer and music supervisor, she produces music as Shortcake and has also written and directed a number of short films
Nostalgic for "dead" but not truly obsolete media, Jamie has an extensive vinyl collection and has even filmed with a Bolex camera. She also had a brief stint as a Division I rugby wing.
